Have you heard the news??

Hot News for the World of Cool Kids Apparel- Little Ruler and Knuckleheads Team Up!

Founded in 2004, Little Ruler has been officially licensing children’s clothing for some of skateboarding’s most popular brands- Independent Truck Co. Santa Cruz, Creature, Nor Cal Clothing. Also founded in 2004, Knuckleheads has been producing their own line of edgy, skate and music-inspired clothing for the children’s boutiques. The sublicensing partnership between Little Ruler LLC and Knuckleheads will enable the brands to grow both the line size and worldwide distribution.

“Knucklehead’s creative team will take Little Ruler’s licensed brands to the next level by creating a more complete apparel line that includes wovens, printables, headwear and accessories”, says Maureen Kendall, Little Ruler CEO & Owner.

The debut line is currently booking now for a Spring 2012 delivery., anticipate lots of new designs, colors and garments for Little Ruler’s licensed brands.

Paul Merrell, Licensing Manager at NHS, owner of the licensed brands says “the synergy of Little Ruler and Knuckleheads work well together while at the same time targeting a slightly different target market segment. With Santa Cruz celebrating its 40th Anniversary and Independent celebrating its 35th Anniversary both in 2013, these brands appeal to the older generation of skate dads who want their kids wearing the same brands they wore back in the day”.

Knuckleheads is manufacturing most of the Little Ruler here, in the US, without sacrificing cost, quality and ship windows.

Melissa Nash, CEO & Owner of Knuckleheads says “Little Ruler and Knucklehead’s brands compliment each other. This is a perfect union and we are very excited to design with these iconic skateboard brands. The fit couldn’t be better!”

In a market that is notoriously limited for boys clothing, Knuckleheads has created a line that moms and kids will love, and dads will envy. Knuckleheads Clothing caters to parents who are looking for something different than the standard sweaters and khakis typical of the boys clothing market. A traditional family business, Knuckleheads focus on quality clothing and current styles is responsible for their tremendous success.

The inspiration for Little Ruler grew from the lack of clothing for babies/kids that represented skate/surf lifestyle. With a legendary background in skateboarding, Jeff & Maureen Kendall wanted to introduce brands to the children’s apparel market and see if other parents would respond. They did, and continue to do so year after year.

Feathers.... it's the new trend

My girls begged for feathers in their hair for their birthdays. Not sure if Steven Tyler is the blame for the trend of feathers in the hair.......but my girls are obsessed, even Ruby who has to do everything her sisters do. Funny how she picked out the boldest brightest ones. Brooklyn didn't want to take the time for a photo, her's is a cool yellow and brown combo- very pretty in brunette hair.
