Welcome spring break.....we have been waiting for you!

We are heading out to the coast on Monday to Long Beach, WA (our home away from home).

Purist at heart

purist. 1. a person who insists on absolute adherence to traditional rules or structures, esp. in language or style.

Yep, that is me. I am a purist. Purist in style.

I think it is a CRIME when quality vintage is destroyed. I am ok with re-finishing, cleaning, updating and resurfacing as long as the original is still in place.
With that being said, I would move to timbucktoo just to live in this amazing time capsule of a house (if it were still for sale). And I pray that the person who bought this home (my dream house) has the appreciation and sense to leave it in its original condition and if they so much as attempt to change out those green counter tops or the try to get rid of the pink bathroom, they will be haunted by the ghosts of the original owners. (he he)
My body physically hurts just looking at the images and I start feeling urges of jealousy and anger. I want this house so much it is painful and it completes me at the same time.

And yes, that is an indoor pool....half is indoors the other half is outdoors. I shall not covet, I shall not covet.....

NY trade show

We came, we saw and we wrote orders........

Thank you New York for showing us another good time and letting us eat and play in your wonderful city...even though my feet had huge blisters from walking so much and thank you for the AMAZING weather, and thank you to my BFF Julie for taking us out to eat the best lobster soup ever and showing us a good time. And thank you to the cab driver who got into a fight with another taxi driver, while we were in your car, it was highly entertaining.

See you again New York in October..........

She swallowed a what????

Ummm, Ruby is weird......I just had to get that out of the way.

While we were away (in NY for a trade show) Lily lost a tooth. She decided that she wanted to wait to show it to us instead of putting it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. So, she put it in a tiny box on a shelf above her bed.

Little did Lily know, that Ruby and Otto had been watching her and saw where she put that tooth.

Some time later Otto announced that the tooth was gone and Ruby ate it.

Yep, Ruby swallowed Lily's tooth.

I am totally grossed out, and Lily is very upset.

***add on***

Lily wrote a letter to the tooth fairy, "My sister ate my tooth, I hope you will still leave me some money".

Grandpa suggested that we leave Ruby under her pillow...........

Here is what is happening in our neck of the woods

We are busy little bees around here, trying to get our spring goodies out. Working as fast as we possibly can.

Ask your local children's boutique if they got their boxes yet, and if they don't sell

Knuckleheads or Hula Mula ask them "WHY NOT????"
